Sure you programed your garage door but do you use the other two buttons and if so what do you use them for?

i dont use this now, dont have set it up yet, but you can use it to control exterior lights (e.g. your garage lights)...you just need a radio controled light switch

mine is a craftsman....this is about the same:

http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...26+Accessories

EDIT: actaully I think that one is different than mine, I think that one plugs into an outlet and then your plug a light into it....where as mine is an actual light switch that controls say an outdoor or overhead light. both provied a similar solution.

I programmed all 3 buttons to open the same garage door, so I don't have to figure out which one to push.

Middle one was a failed attempt at my wifes side of the garage. Im pretty sure it operates a garage door somewhere in the midwest.

1- my garage
2 - my parent's garage
3 - my brother's garage

Easier to get in the house that way. No need for a key.

Use 2 here: 1 opens the gate to the apt complex and one opens the garage.

Left one opens the garage and the middle one opens the gate to my neighborhood. I'll probably program the right one for my brother's garage.

I live in a complex that can't support the homelink, but with a navi, i think I'd get paranoid if someone could just say GO HOME and then open my garage...

ummm...doesn't work that way (i think). the navi does not work with homelink. You might want to put in a security code on your user account.

I use two - for the two different entrances to my apt building parking lot. Haven't figured out a use for the third yet.
