DIY Section Idea

I think it'd be a good idea to make a seperate DIY section and put any DIYs there. It is just PITA to search through all over the forum for just one DIY!

Thank you for your suggestion. I will make the admins aware of this thread, and they will take it into consideration.

It would be fun if we can bet on the successes of the DIY'ers.

For example, I am giving FLOPEZ 40-1.

Word is, it's in the works, but not for now, it might take a while.

But it's an idea the admins have been thinking of for a while.

In the meantime, I will try and arrange something to make it easier to search DIY threads.

I was just about to suggest this. In the Integra forum that I partake in, they have sooo many great sections. One is a DIY Projects sections which list a bunch of articles that are submitted by members (and reviewed by moderators) on various DIY Projects. Everything includes pictures and detailed step by step instructions. The best section in the forum I think.

btw. since this site does not really compete with the site I'm thinking about, you should contact Steve (Administrator) from www.teamintegra.net. I don't want to give away all the great sections he has on this site without his permission.

For those of you who didn't notice, there isn't a section dedicated to DIY just yet, but there is now an index of those DIY threads available. I'll be adding new threads to it as I refine my search, but if you know of some threads that should go there, or start new threads that could go there, send me a PM, and I'll gladly check it out

Look for "Do-It-Yourself thread index" in FAQ.

I would also like to mention I love that some of the TSB/recalls have become sticky's!!!

Maybe an Acura TSB -- recall -- accessory install pdf. section would be cool too.
I'm not sure it such easy access via the net to this literature would get us in trouble with Honda of America though. I know they don't always like that....
