What a bunch of bastards...

Anyway, here's my story. I'm on my way to work this morning, driving into Georgetown. I take 50 through Rosslyn across the Key Bridge onto M St. I usually stay in the middle lane to avoid the turns on the left lane and the parked cars, garbage trucks in the right. I'm in the middle lane going toward Wisconsin Ave where I make my usual right turn. I signal over and pull into the right hand lane to ready for the turn. I'm going and a taxi almost pulls out in front of me, so in order for me to miss him, I move a little to the right which causes my wheels to hit the curb. SON OF A BITCH! After I safely pass and lay on the horn for a couple seconds, I get into the parking deck and find that I have curb rashed my wheel. It isn't bad I don't think. I haven't had a chance to look at it in good lighting yet.

That's my story...

Love those DC Cabbies and their messed up "Zone" fares that they always try to cheat you with.

I hate the taxi drivers around here. I had one pull out in front of me in the middle of an intersection and I had to nail the brakes and swerve, nearly hitting not just a curb, but a light pole. Needless to say, I reported his ass to the police.

But at the end of the day, the reality is that most of the drivers in the area suck, so expecting more from the taxi drivers is being too optimistic.

Seattle taxi drivers in general or ok.

But some are not good drivers and will verge onto your lane. I almost got hit because they will start drifting into your lane.

If you dont move, they end up side swiping your car.

Bastards!

Not really. The original poster did mention that he was driving his TSX and that his beloved wheels got curbed. How's this different than someone posting about a wiper blade on the TSX?

The wiper blade on a TSX is TSX-related. The main focus of this thread is DC taxi drivers. If OP had said, "I curbed my wheel due to a taxi driver...how can I fix this?"...then it'd be TSX-related.

Nine replies to this thread don't even mention TSX or the wheel.
