I have a 2005 no-nav TSX... I was wondering where (if possible) I could get a handsfreelink (the actual Acura brand one) installed... Does acura offer these as an option? could I buy one on ebay or something?... If not, does anyone know what the best bluetooth substitute is?
^^^TSXs can have the BT feature w/o nav --- it's a separate module. Unfortunately for the OP, it's a hardware AND software issue, so no... you can't install the BT module in your vehicle unless you make other significant modifications such as adding a MID in your '05. As for good substitutes, I like the Parrot and Raytel systems. Both are solid, and are much more convenient (in my experience) than the Motorola systems.
For '04-'05 nav owners, I'm currently testing the 5VID by Raytel, which allows call information to display on the nav screen. I've gone through a few "updates" to the unit, and have been meaning to post for awhile. If anyone's interested in more info, let me know...

If you can't get the OEM one, you could always just add a Parrot bluetooth system. It's about $179 retail for the CK3100 LCD Parrot unit (a little less if you don't want one with a screen to display the #'s and menus) then if you don't want to hardwire it in, its and extra $50 for a direct wire kit from HFVT.com. You can certainly DIY if you feel comfortable, I don't think its extremely hard, but Best Buy will install for about $60.

Thanks!
I have a Motorola IHF-1000 hardwired on my 04 and love it. Voice recognition is great and only regret is not having a visual display like some of the Parrot units but it will announce who is calling if you have the number programmed into the unit and interfaces with the stock speaker system.
