All lowered TSX's check in please!!

Honestly, hows the ride? Do you regret doing it, and what brand springs did you use? And last, is there enough slop in the factory suspension and all to bring it back to spec?
Thanks in advance,
John

well before you get slapped with the repetative "try the search button".....the ride is bascially factory in the beginning but the springs begin to settle in. I have eibach pro kit. If you have the money look into coilovers.
But their is many topics on this subject. Anyway...where in jersey are you from?

yeah i was thinking i'd get whacked with the "try a search" thing, but what the heck. Yeah coil overs are nice, but i cant justify spending the money on them. I like how the Nuespeed springs look on Coujacs car, gives it a nice drop.
Have any pics of your car lowered?
Oh, and I'm from Howellbama You?

I'm sure Stokeless was kidding too! If you're worried about the ride, then you really need to save and get a set of coilovers in my opinion. They're more expensive, but well worth it.

I heard with springs, you cant fit more than 3 peeps in the car, and even with two you gotta be really careful when you go over bumps.. why pay all that money and make the ride more "cheap"

The name is what most people think is so good about it--MUGEN! Not as adjustable as some other coilovers out there that are just as good, if not better. I think there was a post not too long ago in the performance threads about different coilovers and peoples experiences.
I think the MUGEN set is a lowering spring with shocks, which would make it unadjustable, but I could be wrong. I have the buddy clubs on order, can't wait to get em!

its mugen its a whole suspension system consisting of shocks and springs, they lower the car about an inch which is perfect imo. i dont think anyone has it for the tsx yet, but many rsx owners like em. they mugen package is kinda pricy at 1000, but it is a whole suspension upgrade so its not that bad. i dont think upgrading just the springs are a good idea, the ride at first feels like stock but as time passes the ride is generally bumpy. this is what ive generally experienced, other users may feel differently.

LOLMAO... shit dawg Jiggaman... you are one true G, got that ghetto fabulous set of rims/wheels... http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...&threadid=7243 Now you're gonna buff it up another level, G styled, by installing those battery-controlled suspension pump & shoot the ride up n down... whatever you call it... I gotta respect that it is all you, I like that...

ground control coilovers is cheaper than the rest of those coilovers and if you really want a better ride upgrade your shocks also, itll run you about 600 maybe...

Ground Control is the most cost efficient way to get your car lower than 1.6"

(Especially when there is 2"+ of wheel gap LOL)

The TEIN that i'm looking at is the TEIN type Flex and it cost around $1300 and you can also add the EDFC to the Flex set up so then you can adjust your shocks damping in car and on the go! But it'll cost you another $350

so, $1,300 + $350 + install = over $2,000 or close to it.

thats the one i was looking at also, i beleive it is the only one that is made for the tsx.

I had the GroudControl coilovers with Tokico Illumina shocks setup on my previous Accord, and the ride was GREAT, and it didn't cost too much. Sure all the other systems come with full adjustability, but you dont really need all that.. for a daily driver in NYC, my setup worked out perfect, and cost a lot less, not that i'm knockin' on any of the other suspension setups

That's actually not true. You just have to make sure you cut the bump stops down. I have the pro kit and had 4 people in the car the other day.
