2007 TSX Shift Knob

Hi, I am a newbie and just bought a TSX and I apologize for not knowing this but does anyone know where I can buy a new shift knob for my 2007 TSX? I bought the car used and the shift knob is kinda of beat up.

I had the same experience; mine was totally messed up when I bought the car. I wanted the OEM knob so I searched for a few months. I found a brand-new in-box one on craigslist from a local enthusiast for $60 so I got lucky.

Brand new, they are around $125 from Acura so if you don't mind the price, you can just get it from them. The p/n is 54102-SEC-A01. You can order it from acura.bernardiparts.com, which is Acura of Boston, for $121.48+shipping.

You can always go aftermarket if you like. Check out heeltoeauto.com, they have a good selection.

Are you asking for a pic of what the messed up ones look like?

All the 1G TSXs used the same knobs, no changes.

Which Accord did you have? I've always been a big Accord guy and dreamed of owning a TSX since they debuted as the CL7 Euro R in '03.

I've owned a 2G, 4G, 5G, 6G Accord. The chassis got significantly tighter on the 6G+ Accords but are no match for the CL9 TSX.

From what I've seen looks like the 07 knob is a bit more angled forward, and the 05 is more straight up design?

The shift knob wasn't changed from '04-'08. Unless you're referring to the AT gear selector knob, in which case I'm not entirely sure. I believe they did make changes but I think it was just about colors.

Kinda beat up ha? Hmmmm..... I'm curious how a selector knob could get "beat up", especially one for the auto trans. I guess I'd be wondering what else is beat up. But..... the 04 and 05 knobs are a little different than the 06-08 models (I have an 05 and an 07). As stated above, I guess an OE replacement from wherever you found the best deal would be a logical place to start. You might get lucky though and find one on ebay or an online used car parts outfit. I think there are a couple of accessory knobs around, but I'm pretty sure you'd find that there even more money than an OE replacement would be (if cost is a concern).

Sorry, I should clarify that it is a manual shift knob and the metal above the leather casing is scratched a little. The dealer quoted me $181.00 US for a new shift knob. I saw few places online that quoted $120 but they don't have any pictures of the knob. To answer the other question I had a 2005 accord ex that was nice but it didn't handle quite like the tsx. That could be mental on my part but the tsx feels tighter.

Like I said, go to http://acura.bernardiparts.com
and put in your vehicle info. You can pick up the shift knob for $120. Don't worry about pictures, if it has the p/n I posted above, you won't have any issues.

Even better, get the "FLP Maven" knob from Heeltoe! Awesome quality. BTW, it does NOT come with, or require, the "collar" at the bottom of its picture. It screws down nice and snug, giving a really clean look and a great feel in the hand when shifting.

The Maven is the best shift knob out there.

It's also half the price of the OEM shift knob.

^ just unscrew it like you would a bottle cap or anything lol. Might be a little tight but doesn't require anything special.

looking for a good looking leather AT shift knob. I have big hands and the stock one is just kinda small for me, like the styling though.
