MSRP is up $800. Automatic is not an option cost $1,200. Nav is $2,500.

All Canadian prices.

I think those prices are in line with what we are expecting, but I'm still waiting for the official word.

It just seems odd that Acura would make the 5AT more on the TSX while keeping is priced the same as the 6MT on the TL. Honestly, I don't really care about that since I'll be getting the 6MT, but I would care if they raised the MSRP $500US. If that's their plan, why wouldn't they go ahead an announced that since it might help them sell their remaining '04 models?

Don't know why?

But the dealer confirmed again yesterday of the price increase of $800 Cdn., and that automatics would now cost and additional $1,200.

Seems a little strange to me that two different dealers in Canada are reporting different MSRPs and different prices for the 5AT option.

Careful the dealer isn't 'confirming' two numbers that encourage you to buy an 04 TSX immediately.

You're right.

I went to another dealer and he "confirmed" that the MSRP have gone up $100 for '05 model. And the freight/PDI is now $1,250, as opposed to $950 for '04's.

Anyways, i bought an 04 TSX. So excited!

I would like to thank you for shopping with us at Cerritos Acura. My name is Kelly Willis and I am the Internet Sales Representative that will be assisting you. My goal is to show you why so many people prefer to use our internet buying process to purchase their vehicles.

We are expecting our 2005 TSX models to be arriving, if not by the very end of this month, then it will be the beginning of November. As of this time, Acura has not published the pricing for the 2005 models.

If you have any questions, or you would like to schedule an appointment, to make your visit to the dealership more convenient, I am available at 562-402-5281 x.169, or you can reach me by email. If contacting you by phone is acceptable please reply to this email and leave me a number where you can be reached.

Again, thank you for the inquiry. And thank you for the opportunity to earn your business.
------

Aww...this gets me excited to hear by then end of this month, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Who here has a time machine?

Just got back from acura the desert, and they let me see the list of cars that are coming in. The 05 will be finished by the 21st of this month, and then shipped out over here by the end of this month, start of November.

You ordered without agreeing on the price?? What are you going to do if the dealer won't negotiate much?

Please keep us posted.. I'm waiting for 2005 myself.

I'm waiting too, I can't stand waiting to order any longer. By the time they put the price out and I order, it will be a nice Christmas present.

Exactly why I decided to wait until next Spring. By then there might be some new competition in this market segment so I'll have to reassess things, but I'm currently leaning heavily towards the TSX. I am disappointed in Acura dragging their feet on the 2005 TSX debut and in annoucing the MSRP for the new year model.

I am new to this form and think that it is great to hear what people are saying about the TSX.

The choices in Canada are pretty embarrassing. The colors that the cars come in are ugly and we don't even have the option of the nav-system. I have been looking at getting a TSX for over a year but have waited to see if Canada gets some better color schemes similar to the USA.

I am tempted to buy a TSX and see if I can get it on Pimp My Ride (MTV show) so that it looks better than what the Canadian market has.

You get almost all of the same colors who needs the rest when you can get PWP anyways?

The colors are not the same. The blue in the USA is much better than the feminine blue in Canada that looks more like Purple. The only guy that could pull that color off is Prince.

And there are no choices for the interior. If you get a black or red car, you get a tan interior. If you get a white, "purple", or ugly tint of gray you get the balck interior.

What I want is a BMW blue. And black interior is so boring. I need some flavor in my life. I am young and wealthy enough to drive almost any car. I don't want to spend money on something that I don't really want. And everyone reading this feels the same way when the go out to buy something. What I find funny is how people are willing to compromise on many details when they buy a car but a pair of jeans or a shirt has to be the best fit for them.

Too late...

Feminine Blue? Buddy, thats your opinion, was it not enough to say you don't like the blue, or its not for you. Did you think that maybe some people in Canada actually bought and like that color? Do you need to be insulting?

And if you actually took time and learned how to use the search function instead of throwing around insults you would have found out that Milano Red and Indigo Blue are out for 05 and Carbon Gray, the US Blue and Navi are in.

Sorry for making you feel insulted. That was not my intention to you or anyone else.

If we all liked the same colors, we would all be driving the same cars. How stupid would that look? So I am glad that you are happy with your choice. All that I am saying is that I am not satisfied with what choices that I have.

j/k but god damn, I've seen attacks on the Indigo Blue before but nothing like what you wrote. Feminine and Prince :wtf: To be honest most of the TSX's I see in Toronto are driven by females, but I've seen only 2 or 3 Blue that were female driven and member PinkyTSX was one of them. Anyway see this thread for 05 TSX info.

Does this look feminine?

pink house behind the car is kinda girly...

Talked to salesman yesterday while test driving an '04 TSX.

He seemed fairly confident that they were NOT going to make auto transmission more expensive than the manual for '05 (I'm in the US).

Of course it comes from a salesman...but in the context of our conversation (me thinking about buying an '04 auto vs. buying an '05 auto) it didn't make sense to me for him to say the auto wasn't going to be more expensive unless he was certain about it or wanted me to buy to '05

WElll..we put 1000 down depending on what price acura came out with, but im not concerned too much with price. Also, we are going through the internet guy and that guarantees $500 off msrp. Just as long as the price doesnt go up 2000 more, it will work out fine. Also, im gonna either be trading in my 99 4 door civic lx or selling it on my own. I'll let everyone know what i hear from my dealer when he gets the #'s

This is almost as bad as Infiniti with the G35. I mean at this pace people will post scans of window stickers before any official info comes out.

You mean like was done for the 2004 TSX when we broke the price info with a dealer who scanned the sticker on a truck load of TSX's that arrived a week early by mistake That was classic.

The theatrics above was not necessary, IMO.
for Gods sake, the guy just made a comment, a snide remark at worst, about a COLOR, nothing else or about his personal feeling about a color.

Sure, and I commented on how inappropriate his comments were, It goes both ways. You want to disparage my car, be prepared to hear about it.

Funny how you always come to people's defense. Maybe another IP check is in order. Did you get bored with your other 3 or 4 usernames?

sounds like you took my comment as disparaging to you. sorry you took it that way.
I think I was simply pointing out the guy fired a cheapshot at a *color* not at OWNERS with that color.

and no i am quite happy with this username.
