Wiper Motor Not Engaging Wiper Blades

Good day fellow 1st Gen'ers. I just wanted to say this website has been of major assistance on numerous instances and I greatly appreciate the help I have received in the past. Now onto my problem...

I am driving a 1998 2.5 TL. When I engage the wiper blades, the blades stay stationary but I can faintly hear the wiper blade motor performing its actions. It seems that the connection between the blades and the motor has been disconnected somehow. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Can anyone help me? I greatly appreciate any advice anyone can offer me.

Thank You,

Rocsplttr

Just take off the wiper motor cowel panel and you will see where it's disconnected. I'll be obvious, probably a bushing wore out.
