dead pedal

Does anyone else find the dead pedal to be too far from your foot to be comfortable?

Acura issued a TSB regarding that problem. All you have to do is to buy one that the TSB indicated. Go to www.acuraparts247.com and order. The part number is 46991-SZ5-A84 so just cut and paste the number in the search field.

Yeah, I believe there were some short dead pedals.

I've got a full sized one and don't find it difficult to use.

Yeah...it only applies to '96-'97 3.2TL's through VIN JH4UA3...VC005674. Mine was one of them.

Before I had no idea what everyone was talking about with the dead pedal being too short, but now I know that mine is normal and wasn't any of the affected models.

The short problem one you mean?

I can't imagine the regular/fixed/correct one being another 4 inches forward...

Do I need to pay for the other pedal or does Acura need to take care of it?
I have the 14$ to do it but was just wondering if anyone had theirs replaced by Acura at no charge?

Not worth the hassle. It's only a TSB and not a recall so Acura will only grant repairs as a good will so they have a say to whether or not paying the bill.
