amp trouble?!

Well this is an old problem that i have not gotten around to fix. Anyway one day i got in my car and my sub was not working. I needed to make a phone call on the short drive so i didnt even bother with it at that moment. Later i get back in and it is working fine. Then it doesnt work, then it does then it cuts in and out then it stops working altogether. The sub is fine, cd player is almost new. This amp had given me trouble in the past, when i first got of ebay it was not working and had it fixed by some local guy here thatworks out of his garage. for like 40-50 bucks he fixed it. This blue light does not come on. So im am assuming unless randomly a wire came loose from back of cd player it is something to do with the amp

I could use any help. I will take it back to this guy to see if there is any guarantee on his work. If not i guess i am in the market for a new one channel amp. This one is a very b rate kenwood 600 max watt single channel amp.

definitely a bad ground, if it turns on and off while you are driving its because the movement of the wire. Find that groudn wire and where its running too, sand off the paint and MAKE SURE its touching the body of the vehicle. see if that fits your problem.

If I didn't just redo my sound system I'd have an amp for you, haha. As everyone else said, check the grounds.

~Cheers~

check the ground, and also check the remote wire, usually a thin blue wire. I had the same issue, turned out to be bad ground.
