Tail lights won't budge!

I'm trying to take out my tail lights and they are not moving at all. I removed the four screws on each light but they seem to be stuck to the car.

Is it possible that they were glued or something!? Anyone else come across a simmilar problem?

Did you remove the nut or the bolt? You're only supposed to take off the nut. Take the side of your ratchet or a small hammer and start tapping each bolt in a cross. That should jimmy it out of there.

I took the nuts off but be bolts appear to be part of the tail light assembly. So the bolts are supposed to move or should I tap them only to loosen the tail light?

bolts are part of the lights.
Be careful when you tap the screws, they are attached to a plastic base.

I removed them by pushing the screws with my thumbs.

You should be able to just pop them out. Was the car in an accident? It could have been jammed there.

The bolts also screw into the plastic, but they're hard to accidentally remove.

Well the car was in a frontal accident and the rear is completely intact. But yeah the lights will not move. I'll try some more but I don't want to break them.

Perhaps the rubber gaskets stuck due to age and heat. Try hair dyer...heat it up.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I still didn't get the chance to try them out though as I was trying to remove the heater core and the whole shebang that goes with it.
