Has anyone had to replace their starter? If so how much did it cost you?

 

I did just last week. $621 with install.

 

Are you serious???? I was thinking the most I was going to pay was like 3 bills but 6?? Dam How did you know it was your starter? Did you take it to the dealer?

 

aftermarket starters run for about 3-400 bucks.

 

what kind did you buy and where?

 

Got mine around $300 with install and I knew when to replace it becuase it took my car several times to start up the car.

 

it cost me $180

 

the same thing happened to me but all i needed was a new distributor cap and now its all better

 

maybe our starting problems have something to do with the ignition coil?

 

No, I take it to a friend that owns a garage.

 

Well my car is at the dealer right now and they have yet to call me so I am praying it's not my starter. How in the hell did you guys get it installed and bought so dam cheap? Did you guys replace it with acura/honda parts or does that really matter?
