Need Help with filter...
hey guys... i got a 98 3.2 TL and i just got a new filter today... when i opened the hood to look at the stock intake, the stock filter box is right behind the power steering fluid... what did u guys do to make the aftermarket filter fit??? please help, i wanna get it in by next week.. thanks..
i looked at it again today.. loosened all the clips and i couldn't even get the damn cover to the filter box off... it is on there... i tried to get it off the tube but even the top half in there tight... its like its freaking glued on... ne ideas how i even get the old box out.... its a replacement intake filter... not just the filter that goes inside the box...

there's a couple bolts to take out the air box. and the aftermarket cone filter will be touching your powersteering reservior but it wont hurt anything... it kinda pinches the vacume hose a little to. i had mine in for months no problems yet :-D
