Well I took my tailights off and repainted the orange red. To make it nice and new looking. Cause after a year or two, the red fades a little. I got the cold air intake coming. And I jus got the rims put back on. The weather is great too. Bling Bling!!!

 

once you hook up that intake... i expect Pics thats awsome man... CAI is coming to a TL near you... so does the painted tails look the same??? any changes in the red you used??? Glad to hear you keeping it up and running...

Haha. The red paint that I use is a very close match to the stock part of the tailight. It's a candy apple red transparent paint. So instead of wasting money on inspires, even though I like those, I decided to pain the orange red right when I bought the car. Ya I love this car.

 

Im assuming you get the one from Weapon-R? I think those are the only guys that make it right? Did you get the Dragon intake or the Secret Weapon intake system? Definately get some pics with that bitch in there

Mike, did you spray any clear coat on top of that paint to make it shiny? i was pondering this apple red paint idea with clearcoat to make it shiny and keep away that usual dull look of spray paint (even the transparent kind). can't wait for pics.

 

U know I never use clearcoat, but it still shines. I painted the outside, hehe. But it looks jus like the stock part above.

 

well it's something to think about if it does have any type of 'dull' look. just in case. it couldn't hurt.
