OK.....Well it's been a three month process hampered with nothing but problem after problem. The last issue with the f#$%ed up head has still not been resolved with the wrecker. HOWEVER, today I took my chances and ordered a driver's side head from K&H Auto Wreckers in PA. Should get shipped out today. With any luck I will have it by the end of the week. HOPEFULLY when I get the head it will NOT need a re-build. If that is the case (which it probably won't be) I SHOULD be able to get the porting re-done and get the new engine assembled by the end of the weekend! That means I can drop my car off and hopefully have it back by NEXT weekend all fixed and running! I have got very low hopes for this but I am hoping for the best. Then I still have to find an ECU which I will just end up ordering from car-part.com when I get back from Florida at the end of the month (I leave on the 22nd, I HOPE to have my car fixed before I go!!) then come home, get the ECU on, put the 18's back on and be ready to ROLL with a FINALLY LOWERED, FINALLY RUNNING Type II '97 3.2 TL!!! Oh crap.....I gotta buy two more tires first too....JEEEZ I can't win!!!!

HAHA..true enough...I honestly think I will loose it if the head shows up and it's no good.....Might be time for a new TSX.....

Well, got the head on Friday, my boy is loooking it over at the shop today, if all goes well, I'll be rockin again in a few weeks!!

updates?

shop is super busy now, but should have the motor together end of the week. I SHOULD be doing rebuild on the heads, but f@#$ it. SOOO tapped for cash right now, this job is WAY over budget. Just gotta get car runnin I will take the car off the road next winter and get both heads re-built and fully ported. FOr now I just want to get it runnin'!!! Off to Florida a week friday, should be done when I get back barring any MORE unforseen problems. I'll have to find a Type II ECU when I get back.

TSX might be a good idea, you ever drove one? The car is super fast and handles like a dream.

I think our 3.2's are still some of the best looking cars on the road, keep it if you can. Looks like your almost there with getting your car back. Good luck!!

Yup, I love the look of it too, that's why I was investing so much $$$ and TIME into it, but just getting outta hand now. But the head is ok, so I'll be drivin her at least one more season. I haven't driven a TSX YET, but I WILL be soon.
