Anyone w/ a 1996 3.2 TL cooling fan keeps running all the time (when the engine is turned off). I dont know whether its only my car or everyone else also.

the cooling fans stay on for about 15 minutes or when it hits a certain temp when the engine gets too hot, it should automatically shut off after that.

Normal. It is on time delay. Not much you can do about it.

Fans not running, even on a hot summer day....I can not say it is normal. But then again, that is speculation.

You might want to get that checked if only one of them turns on. I'm pretty sure they are suppose to come on at the same time, otherwise Honda wouldn't put two there in the first place.

according to my mechanic friend, the fans are designed to work independently from each other and I'll only see the other fan running only in extreamly hot weather with the AC on. I don't know how true this is. Has anyone of you actually seen both fans working before??

It is tru. Same with all hondas that have the dual fan setup. The A/C fan will only come on if the A/C is on and the temp is high enough.
