Cannot Change Temp with Climate Control AC running wide open!

09 RDX Tech. I am not able to raise the temperature setting while ac is running. Continues to blow ice cold when set up to 85 degrees!
Appreciate any guidance.

May want to check your blend door. Your driver's side is near the gas pedal. You should see/hear it working as you adjust the temp from full hot to full cold. If it's not working, check the connection first - I had one that was just loose and unplugging and re-plugging it back in worked for me. Been 2+ years now. But if that doesn't work you may have to replace the actuator.

Thanks for your suggestion. The blend actuator is moving smoothly.

The actuator is moving up and down the slot in the white door. Additionally I can hear the change in air movement as it goes from cold to heat! Thinking that it is working as it is supposed to…..

Does the a/c not turn off when you press the a/c button? Assuming it still disengages, does the air temp change when you have it just on the fan (you should at least be able to tell whether it's actual heat vs just whatever warm temp it may be outside). If there is some issue with your heater core or thermostat then you might not be able to get *hot* air, but it shouldn't be any cooler than outside temp if the a/c is not running.

I just tried this: AC off, temp set to high, fan on high. After coming up to normal operation temp, no hot air is being delivered! I think I have a thermostat or heater problem as well! Appreciate your suggestions!

Found that the Heater Valve and Cable was stuck, (on the firewall and left of the Master Cylinder) unhooked and lubed, actuated the cable manually, lubed the valve, heater will now work and the blend valve has something to blend!!
Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge!
