Mud/fog lights

Was thinking about adding some fog lights and maybe some aftermarket mud flaps. What do you guys think about that for this car or maybe it is a bad idea? Trying to get a rally look. Possibly add a roof rack as well.

I'm thinking about changing my fog lights to HIDs or LED bulbs to match the low beam headlight. I'm interested to see what other people have done as well.

I'm thinking about the same thing. I have an '06 TL Base and I haven't seen any of the same color with splash guards, but I've always been a fan. I love the rally look, an that is ultimately my goal with my car as well.

I'm a little concerned on the 2nd listing - there's no way an LED should only manage 1920 lumens from 80 watts. Sounds like a POS. The first listing shows the same 1920 rating for 30 watts, which is more in line with what LED's should produce (50-75 lumens per watt for cheap stuff, which is what these are). If you're going to get one of these two, go with the first option.

Will it fit? I was under the impression that the RDX used H11 bulbs as fogs, so I'm not 100% sure. But here is your 30w in H11 size.

Yeah i wasn't sure which one. Can anyone confirm h11 is the proper one. Also do you think it is possible to change the drl to look more white like the hids color or no.

Thanks! I just bought them. Hopefully I can get the factory one unstuck and install them but can't wait! Tempted to see if these will look good when replacing the stock mudflaps.

another problem with the ebay ones is they are saying total watts not individual so really its about half the light output

hand down best leds you can get are from VLED.. you get what you pay for

As I mentioned, the Ebay is cheap stuff (but sometimes that's ok!). The ones you linked look sweet though. Just not sure I can bring myself to drop 100 on fog bulbs...

Ill tell you guys how the cheap ones turn out. All i'm going for is just to have a more xenon look instead of the ugly halogen look they currently have to match the regular lights. I wonder if their is a way to do that with the drl's/high beams.

anyone used these on the fog lights? They are rated 60W, is that too much for the factory wiring? I just don't want my car to burn to the ground.

I can't get the pic to show up.

Don't take eBay listing of wattages as that. Especially when we're talking about LED's wattage has become an overused marketing term to represent luminosity. What they should be stating is the lumens the bulbs produce. But instead the use higher wattage numbers to make buyers think they're brighter. It's misleading because these bulbs don't draw 60W.

so here's the listing
http://www.ebay.com/itm/121249731247?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

It advertise 1100 Lumens. I know I can get HID kits for $10 more, but I just don't want to deal with the wiring, and finding a place for the ballast. In other words, I'm lazy.

Any input on those bulbs?
