Hmmm....is this odd? Don't they normally release in the fall? Is this just an interim update? I'd hate to order it and have a new one released on October. Any thoughts or opinions?

Edit: I thought I knew what you were talking about...but maybe not. I only see 4.62 via the official channel.

Thanks,
Mike

Google "acura 4.63" shows some interesting links. I do not know if any of them really work.

Check this thread....I'd be interested to know if you get the same answer on the POIs...

ok, so I also noticed it's over 7 Gigs. Are you all using double-layer discs to burn the disc image or what? Also, where the deuce is the DVD drive in the RDX?

Access to the nav DVD drive is on the passenger side of the center console. Just replace the DVD and it should install automatically.

I just finished burning 4.63 with imageburn with the default settings as a previous poster did. After burning I put it into the car to test out version 4.63 to see if I want to purchase it when it becomes available..... When I put in into the navi unit it said downloading software for about a min and then it said Check your disc. It burned perfectly with the software. I used a Verbatim DL DVD+R disc. What did I do wrong. No errors came up in the burning process.

i used nero and burnt at 2.4x (don't touch your machine even if you have a fast one) I find dual layer burning is very delicate.

turn off all screen savers and power saving items before burning.

Hmm, I used imageburn and Verbatim discs, too. Make sure they are Singaporean and not Chinese discs--there really is a difference. I never by DL's on-line because I want to read the label.

Mine works fine. They picked up a few more streets in my neighborhood (which is still under construction).

I can't tell where the DVD's were made but I would like to verify I have the correct file sizes. The MDS is 9kb and the ISO is 7,501,638 kb. I just tried burning again at 1x and got the same error. I don't know what's going on because I did burn a test many months ago of 4.62. The only difference I can think of is that I am using my laptop into my LG USB DL burner instead of my desktop this time. What media is everyone using?

Took me three tries, but used default settings in ImgBurn and finally got it to work. Can't tell any difference in 4.62 and 4.63.

No. And when the 4.62 version came out, the salesman, who's deal was done, said there was no need to spend the additonal $185. He said it wasn't any improvement. But then the sales would have come out of his parts department. I suspect he was being truthful.

ok, i have the software installed and am downloading 4.63, but it's taking forever (avg download speed is 54kb/s for the 1st 650 MB).

so now all i need is someone to explain the burn process using nero (as i said above, i have nero 7 premium). i do have dvd +r dl discs and my burner is a dual layer burner. is it as simple as using the 'Burn Image to Disc' option under the 'Backup' icon from nero startsmart?
