So this 2007 RDX I just bought only has 1 key. Seems no one but the dealer can provide me with a spare and they want $150 for a plain key or $200 for the flip remote combo (includes "programming"). The keys themselves are $55 and $95. If I hadn't already had a bad experience with these jokers I might be willing to just bite the bullet and pay it but I just don't want to give them any more of my money. Not to mention the fact that based on past experience those amounts will somehow multiply 2-3 fold by the time all is said and done and not in an honest mistake kind of way.
Any how, does anyone have any advice for getting a spare key or two for a reasonable sum??

Honestly $200 OTD for a new key and fob is about right, unless there are 3rd parties that can do it. On my car I bought the piece online but still had to pay the dealer to cut the key and program the fob. My end total was still somewhere north of $150 if I recall right.

 

Got just the key and programming at Batteries Plus for $84 vs $150 at the dealer.

 

Nice, I wasn't aware any of the 3rd parties could supply keys for the RDX.
