So I just purchased a 2015 Acura RDX w/ tech and I was surprised it only came with 2 keys. Every car I've ever purchased has come with 2 master keys, 2 remotes and 1 valet, so I'm used to having 3 keys that will at least start the vehicle, now (god forbid) I only have 2.

What I'm wondering is can 3 keys be programmed to the RDX? I don't care about memory settings I just want a key that will lock/unlock and start the vehicle.

 

You can separate the RDX key into a key and a valet remote, so you really have 4 keys!

I'm not sure if the RDX is capable of recognizing 3 keys at once. Either way I think purchasing and programming a new key at the dealer is relatively expensive (>$100).

It would be nice if the valet key limited the engine to 3500 rpm and 60mph. The Cobb accessport allows for this feature.
