Here is something interesting I found on ebay. This company in China will cut a key based on a photo. They will cut a key for your car, put it into a remote and send it to you for less than $25
It's true you need to have it programmed to start your car, but it has to be cheaper than buying a key at a dealer.
I received the key yesterday, so it took about 2 weeks to get to me. It fit into the ignition and started my car, but then it quit (Not programmed to my car yet)
The case seemed a little cheaper than OEM, but something I didn't notice after the first minute.
I need to program the door lock function, but since it is at the same freq, I expect it to work ok.
I am not thrilled with my new key. It is cut right, but I couldn't get the remote to program. I could get into the programming mode, but it wouldn't register the key. Also, the remote didn't come with a battery. It didn't say it would, but I was kinda surprised it didn't

Which key did you chose to use? The Chinese or the Tom's Key company link I provided?

The chinese one.
I am disappointed, but don't mind all that much. I still have an extra key to my car for $21 bucks. I went to a locksmith and they wanted $60 to cut a key, so in my head, I still saved $40
