ive got a 97 cl 2.2, and just the other day it started havin throttle surges when in neutral, from like 1000-2500 rpms, i've replaced the throttle control valve, and the map sensor, any ideas?

 

you've already replaced the IACV?

I'm having similar problems, but on a 3.0, I've got my IACV ordered already, but if that doens't fix it, if you ever figure it out let me know, I HATE how i drives right now. I can't enjoy driving with it like this.

 

well see, about a month ago, my car started do the surges or what not, and come to find out my egr hose was sucked shut, so i replaced that and it solved my problem for the time being, well then it started again so i replaced the throttle valve, and it cured the problem, and the other day it started again, at first it would only surge a few times when i first cranked it up, but once i drove about a mile or so, it had stopped. that lasted about 4 days and then it surges constantly now, when you crank it and when you push the clutch in, once you've got it rolling, you wouldnt think nothings wrong until you go to stop..kind weird, i called the local acura place in my neck on town, and he told me to check my throttle control valve, and something about a thermal valve or something..

Seafoam... and Deffinately have your EGR checked out. I finally got mine completely replaced and the car just runs better in general. Surprising what a faulty/dirty EGR valve can do to make you think its something else or have symtoms of other problems.

 

alright so i found out whats goin on with my car, the hoses that connect to my IAVC are getting no fluid through them..so either my hoses are kinked or stopped up or something

 

ok new problem, pulsating injectors? they go from 0-4.9999 while idle, back and forth..all sensors have been checked and everythings fine besides the injectors?
