Exclamation Brake issue

Recently, my ABS light came on while driving. After turning off and restarting, the light cleared itself but comes back on occasionally, only going off after shutting the car off. I think it may be an ABS sensor, but then I noticed coming to a complete stop, at the end, it feels like the brakes clench up a bit. Today, the brake indicator on the dash came on, is this a heads up that brakes need to be replaced?

Get ABS codes by shorting the Service Check Connector (blue 2-wire connector under glove box) and counting the ABS light flashes (all short flashes). It's a two part code ffff-p-f = code 41. The pause is about same length as flash. There could be multiple codes w/ a long pause separating each code.

Post back your codes and perhaps I or someone else can help.

good luck

A short jumper is simply a piece of wire connecting both pins of the connector. Install, turn keyswitch to ON, and read ABS flashes.

good luck
