HI.

Just bought a 1998 CL 2.3 . This is my first CL but i've owned about 5 Tegs and a handful of Accords and a couple of CRXs...anyways

My DRLs aren't working and my right Bright light isn't workiing either. All the bulbs are good, the fuses under the dash and the hood are all good too (no fuses are burning). The harness is getting power...I've read it's possibly/probably the DRL Module???

where is that?

any help would be app'ed

 

It's under the steering wheel column... it's a gray plastic box... when you drive around does the DRL light stay on, on your instrument panel?

yeah...the DRL light on the instr. panel stays on. no DRLs on outside and ONE bright is burnt.
I saw this prob since i've been reading in forums but I wanted to be sure and I wasn't sure which box was the DRL mod. there's a few box/switched under there.

It should say running lights relay on it... I had it fixed before I took ownership of my car and I had the same symptoms that you have...

 

plastic grey box under steering column. common problem on honda/acura of this age.

 

exact same symptoms...exact same problem...took out the relay, got a soldering gun and touched up some of the joints, actually pretty much the same as on the link...problem solved.

not sure if u guys have seen my post here but i had these same symptoms, fixed it using DIY but the problem returned after 5 months and now this time its here to stay !! checked both fuses and used a friends DRL that works on my car and it doesnt work .. ?!??!
