my 18s up front gathered some pretty gnarly camber wear. on the way to a car meet last night i hit a pothole and booooom. Car: 0, Pothole: 1

got these on for temporary. its time for a camber kit up front and some new tires i might re paint the 18's and throw my stockers on for now. these 15" sportmax's are my buddy's that we threw on at 711 last night after the boooom.

the rears are 18x9.5 +35 and the fronts on right now are 15x8 +0

 

by the way, while driving on the interstate, this thing shoots sparks like a mini truck now

oh and what's the offset on the front with the other wheels?

 

on the 15x8 002's its +0. on my 18x8.5 962's, its +35.

ya dude those or like some rota gt3's in 16's would look great.

 

gt3's have horrible fitment.

im gonna put my stockers back on soon, and repaint the 18's. i'm gonna get a camber kit hopefully soon, and tires for the front and then the car will be back in business.

then down the road i might sell the 18s for something smaller. we'll see.

 

I was wondering what those wheels looked like on our car. Look like go-cart wheels.

 

I didn't think the Sport Maxx's would fit our cars. Aren't they all low offset? I work with a guy that has those on a 240SX and they're like a +15. Always wanted to swap wheels for a day, except he'd get stuck with the crummy 2.2 6 spokes.

the 15s' lips up front are actually a tad bit bigger than the 18s' lips haha

those are 002's in the front. they're +0.

if i were to get 16x8 501's, then the offset would be +0 as well.

they're not wide and they have high offsets and they sit sunken into the wheel well.

yeah you right. well if i go with those later, it'll be 16x8 +15 i guess. my mom has them on her miata in 15's, and i just assumed they were +0 because of her fitment. but they have a 3" lip and sit flush, so thats all that matters.

i thought you meant because of the wheel sizing. if i had've kept an 18" on one side and put the 15" on the other, my car wouldnt have liked that very much haha.

but you mean the usual 3.0 stuff? it shifts hard every now and then, but overall pretty smooth. but the engine lights on, but fuck it. a car isnt cool if it doesnt have an engine light on
