We've all read the "window seal" problems that seem to plaque us.... However, I was wondering how much we "need" the seal. My outside "inner" seal (touching the window on the outside) has ripped halfway off on the driver's side and has detached about in the middle of the window on the passenger's side. Should I just rip off the rest of the driver's side window seal that's damaged... or leave the half that's there and try to silicon the rest. The passenger side has completely baffled me as to what route to take. Thanks for the help in advance...

Wind noise goes up considerably with the seal missing, drives me nutz to hear it....turn up the radio.

HATE WIND NOISE!!

 

i ripped mine out a long time ago... and do not notice wind noise and havent seen any negative effects from that route....
