That is a matter of opinion. I feel that they will last just as long under the same use. Keep the regulator tracks lubed and you should be good for the rest of your cars life. HAP offers a limited lifetime warrenty with the new regulator they sell, if it matters. I feel that for 80 if it lasts at least 3 years than im fine. Considering the cost of gas, insurence, and proper matainence, 80 in 3 years is nothing. I hope you are planning on doing the install yourself, because its way to easy not to.....

regulator for 97 3.0 cl

I have a 97 3.0 cl with the same window problem. Would the 1997 Acura CL (2.2L-4 Cyl) Drivers Side Power Window Regulator w/Motor from 1aauto.com work for this application?

Thanks

It was unclear..

It was unclear to me what exactly they were saying. I was just trying to make sure it will work before I order it.

http://www.1aauto.com/1A/WindowRegul...P1331435/42390

so this will work on my 98 cl, right?

The only reason I am asking is because I called 1a auto and they said that it wont work on my 98 cl 3.0. I think they are confused, due to the fact that acura said that the 97 2.2 and the 98 3.0 have the same part number regulators. So am I right about thinking that1a is confused?

took mine out-same part 1aauto has for 2.2

I took my window regulator out today and it is the same part 1aauto.com has pictured for the 2.2. 1aauto.com also sells them through ebay and they are cheaper so I ordered it through ebay and got it for $62 shipped. I will let you know for sure once I get it installed, but from the picture it looks exactly the same. I have a 97 cl 3.0.

Just an update, I did receive the regulator from 1a auto and it did fit in my 98cl. I had no problems with install at all. In fact, it was quite easy. Just wanted to let anyone who was interested in buying this regulator that it will fit.
