Re: help help...

Ground Controls are way too bumpy, you will feel everything with a coilover, however with the full adjustable teins are a little different stiff but not as much since the struts and coils are meant for each other. i would recommend getting springs, if you want the extreme lowered look, look into neuspeeds or

kits, if you go with a GC setup i would only use the koni yellow, from what i have heard they work best with the GC's. but if you want a 1.75 and a 1.5 i would recommend the eibach sportlines, they ride very well with the cl, ask CiLvr2.3 he has them on, i drove with him a couple of times and i like the feel of his and thats what im probably getting with some konis as well but eibach of neuspeed are pretty decent springs

I completely disagree w/ 97 on the shocks. I use to be a big hater on the sleeve type coilovers, but recently GC has done alot of changes to their product to make it really nice. We just installed KYB AGX's on a buddy's civic and did the GC's and the car rides awesome.

The agx's are awesome, and they blow the koni's away mainly because of their lifetime warranty.

The AGX's are the way to go w/ the GC's. I have a few friends who run shops and they all now swear by the KYB's. They won't even sell illumina's or the koni's. If they were around when i bought shocks that's the way I would of gone.

But also, the Tiens are a very good consideration.

Yo Mervyn...Me and Pete both got KYB AGX on our cars since you last saw us. Come down if you wanna see how they ride...Not sure if the coilovers will make a difference, but I love my setup.

sup joe, thanks for the invite... im just to broke to go with konis right now, so i'm thinkin' kyb agx. i'm planning on going up there after my exams next week. ill give u a call or something.

Acura3.0CL i read from a thread that kyb agx voids the warranty on drops more than 1.5 inches... dunno if its true or not. yea, i don't like sleeve coils either, but it'll do for now.

its true that the agx's warranty will void if you drop it too low. i guess they can tell by the stress on the struts. i had them before and now i have koni yellows, i like the konis better cuz they were built for a lower drop. id still recommend agx for a 2in drop or less
