ok so i got my clear signal lenses and i installed them and went to buy yellow bulbs (two on each) and i installed them, then tried them out and worked fine. but right now i thought i would take it out for a cruise so i got in my car and checked all my lights and they were working, then i tried starting the car and the dash lights, radio lights, ac lights, and clock blinked about 4 times and i also heard this clicking with each blink of the lights. if i turn my lights on before starting the car they also blink. wtf is up? could it be the bulbs or what

dont know if this will help but i noticed that when i put the turn signal the lights inside dim then go back with every blink of the light.

does anyone know what the hell is going on with my car. thanks.

the bulbs are fine, when you start your car does it take longer than normal? the only thing i can think of is your battery might be almost dead or your alternator, maybe your fuses!

Just taking a stab in the dark but it sounds like there is something that is shorting you lights out.

having the same problem now...

doesn't seem to be the lights that are my problem though, maybe something with the starter. Only starts to short out once i turn the key completely and then everything goes black and flickers.

Did you replace anything other than the clear lenses and bulbs, ie;bulb harness? If not, probably the batery has a spent cell. If so, check that proper ground has been attained. Some shops will hook up your charging system and test it for free. If you can't get the car there, take the batery and test it.

As for the starter, worste-case-senario. You have spent the starter relay or the solinoid.

Good luck.

theres also a recall on the ignition switch. that could be your problem too.
