Storing an engine for the winter

i just bought a F23A1 with 81K from a 99 2.3CL from H22 euro-R and ill be storing it for the winter in a unheated warehouse at work. what steps do i have to take to keep this engine in good condition. this warehouse is my only option and im gonna be spending alot of $$$$ on this motor. so i want everything to work when i put in my car in this coming summer.

i think he is in an auto mechanic class, in the class room.

as for storing the engine, try googling it, or call acura and tell them your gonna store your car for the winter and what are some of the precuations you should take in when storing it for a long time.

why dont you use a bunch of bottles of seafoam, that way it will stay clean and also over the winter it will take off all the deposits.... so the engine is going to be like new fresh and clean

It'll eat away his seals and gaskets if stored in the motor for a long period

u should just drain all fulid, seal up all opening, and when u're ready to work on it...pore in a qt of 10W-30 and turn the motor manually a few cycle to let the oil run down the wall.
