Prelude shifter mod...

I was wondering if I would be able to use a shifter from a 97-02 prelude to do the mod? I can get a 97 one very easily... I've been looking for one from an older lude but the junkyards around here don't have any. Also wondering if the shifter from a 97-02 lude is shorter or longer than the one for the older lude? Would it make a diffference compared to the broom stick we have in our CL's??

thanks for the help guys

i dont think the 5th gen lude shifter would work. Its a pain in the ASS to rip all that crap out. so I'd rather wait for a 4th gen one.

Can I purchase a prelude stock shifter with a short shift adapter or is it going to be way too short?

I just didnt want to drop the 220 on the pspec. When the prelude shifter is ultimately the same thing.

THats cause ur a smaller dude.. its all preference. i have these hairy palmed big hands and big forearms so shorter throw and shorter hieght is good for me..

If u want to shorten the throw ONLY, get the adapter off of ebay..

remember guys, just because the shifter itself is a few inches shorter doesn't mean your throw is any shorter... just a thought
