spring install

I called around today to get quotes on labor charge to install lowering springs, Struts and camber kit on my 97 2.2 CL and I was quoted $280.00 to $300.00 for labor alone. Seems kinda high to me what do you guys think? This is in the Houston area if anyone knows of someone cheaper let me know.

Seems high to me too, but that's because I know how to do it myself. Drive to Dallas and I'll do it all for $150.

You won't be able to find it any cheaper unless it's like an import hook-up shop. But it's not that hard, just time consuming. Good luck!

i got mine hooked up(few weeks ago, installed teins).. so i paid $130 install and allignment..

but the installing springs is damn easy!! if u have tools..

and.. when the other shop installed my neuspeed springs before the teins, they charged me $120 only for everything... and it wasn't hooked up..

so.. go find some more shops..

look up in the yellow pages for auto performance shops

i went to place about 5 miles from my house, and they did it for 130 bucks without alignment

my car is too dropped to even need a alignment right now though.. i need to go buy a camber kit

and nippon is right, its really really easy! u just need air/power tools, and a buddy

go to the acura dealership and hang out by the service bays about 11AM to noon....wait for the techs to start walking around during lunchtime and ask one of the younger guys who doesn't make as much money if he would like to make an extra 100 bucks after work

Works for me all the time

I'm still checking around and so far no luck with shops. The next shop I called quoted me $350.00. I'm going to hit the streets and find a hook up deal.
