Spoiler Question

I'm considering buying a spolier off eBay that someone else mentioned in a different thread for my 97 2.2. I was wondering for anyone who recently got a spoiler for an older car, can you see a noticable difference in the color? I just don't want to get this spoiler and have it be a lot brighter then my 4 year old probably sun faded car. So just wondering if anyone had any input. Thanks
Melanie

I put a spoiler on my '98 in '01 an the paint was a perfect match. Looks great an makes the car look sportier IMO.

I had the spoiler replaced after 6 months on my 98 green CL and I can notice a differnce in the colour. But you can get the spoiler repainted to match

You should get an aluminum one that way you dont have to worry about painting it. Everyone on this board wants one and it would look great on your car, just like TF&TF.

Thanks for the tip, Patrick!

I got the credit card out, and I'm just looking for the best price!

Ummm forget looking for the best price after all it is aluminum and im sure you have a roll or two in your closet. Just get some ply wood and wrap it up with aluminum foil. Than all you have to do it screw it to your trunk Actually there is a CL around here with a real aluminum spoiler and it looks pretty bad. Better than i thought it would but still bad. I'll try and snap a pic for you guys
