I think it's pimpinwhite2.2 that has them. My guess is that he put on a spray tint or some tint film on the inside.

I had a probe that I smoked the tailights on. It actually looked really good. Get a can of spray tint (around 45 bucks), take out your taillights, lay them out in your garage over paper, and put 2-3 light coats on them. Let them dry overnight, then replace. The entire process is easy and inexpensive, looks cool too.

I actually went to a hobby store right down the street and bought spray tint for $4 a can, it took one 4 oz. can, and in order to stop the paint from dripping, i iused a wire brush and scratched the lights up. Since i replaced my bumper lenses with clear ones, i ipracticed on the yellow stocks bumper lenses that i dont use anymore. i ilet them dry for about 10 minutes, and they blowdryed them from about 5 feet away, total time to do both lights was about 1 1/2 hours. If anyone needs to know anything else you can emaili me at aminm@uci.edu and id be glad to help. Ill put pics upp on sunday when i go back to my apt.

Well someone else said they had to scratch up their taillights and i would guess that the only way to get the paint to stick well would be to scratch them up. I wouldnt do it but thats JMO.

Instead of using the spray tint, can't you just buy tint film and put it on? wouldn't that be the same? just an idea...

ok guys.......ive seen someone on here with the tint.......he has pics on his website.....whoever he is.......my opinion, the tint looks horrible....UNLESS you do it properly......WHICH MEANS, take the tailight apart and tinting em from the inside.......spraying the tint on the outside is gay and looks ghetto as shit......HONESTLY.....ps, paint remover WONT work cause itll blur up the finish on the plastic......and there really is no need to scratch up the lenses.....if you dont believe me, i dont care......i know, ive done it to other cars, and my dad owns a private auto shop and painting cars etc is second nature to him......

Yea....d5c5b...I think you were referring about my pics. I agree...the tint didn't come out the way I wanted it to. I thought it would come out to a smooth glossy finish, but no matter how much I polished it....it never would. I only put a thin layer on, and it's already beginning to fade. It seems that every time I wash it, some more of it comes off. I think i'll eventually take all the tint off. The tint spray just makes it look dirty. Here's the link to my pics again. You guys can decide for yourself if ya wanna do it.
