Just dive into it, that's what we always do. If its anything like the accords and civics then it wont be hard just time consuming. If you tug and it wont release look for bolts, they like to hide them. Your other option is to wait on the manual and do it by the book but where is the fun in that.

pretty decent start if you just look at kleptos short shifter DIY, it shows you how to take apart the 97 dash for the most part.

They're talking about the DASHBOARD, not the console

- tucking the prop valve behind dash
- re-routing brake lines
- tuck fusebox
- redoing ALL wiring

to say the least, it's alot easier with it off then on..

didn't get around to gettin pics at all, by the time i thought of it i was already 3/4s done..

as for hints:

- PATIENCE
- there's about 6-7 MAIN bolts that hold it in (black bolts)
- random little bolts that are attatched to shit, just gotta look for em
- the most annoying thing is that once its off, there's wires for the pass. tweeter and the sensor at the top of the dash that are strapped in under the vent tubes (whatever they're called) & you gotta take em out to be able to pull the wires out.
- oh and PATIENCE lol

i actually though i was gonna go nuts last night doing it cuz i couldn't figure it out but you just have to keep at it.

Another thing that is a bitch was removing the re-bar behind the dash, there's this one bolt specifically that took me about 45 minutes to get off cuz i just couldn't get at to save my life and i still have no idea how i got it lol.

I have the A/C blower and fan box out but i have no clue how to take out the main blower box, anyone have any insights on that??

i'll get some pics 2morrow when its lighter out cuz i have no clue how to work my moms camera..
