I am about to purchase a CL, im 25 and just started my teaching job in tracy, and im a girl but mostly i see old people with a CL

but not single

anyways i want to get a stick/manual CL but the 3.0 doesnt come in the manual? is ther any problems with the 2.3?


there is a CL local for 9000 for 67k miles and leather interior, is this a good deal?

what should i look for?

that seems to be a pretty good price...check to see if there are any electrical probs, cl's are pretty notorious for those and to see if the windows roll up and down ok

you will love the 2.3 5-spd,its the first gen with the least problems, it would be a wise choice,, id try to get them down to around 8 g's if possible though

hey thats awesome ... im new too ... and ive been lookin at one ... a 98 2.3 5 speed ... only its got like 74k and the dude is askin like 9400$ ... and im sure as hell not lettin that slide ... especally with a cracked winsheild

 

i bought my 98 3.0 Premium for 11500 last year.. it had about 70,000 miles on it.. the dealer wanted 15999 for it.. but i got it down to 11500.. overall its a great car.. and i have no problems with it.. although.. i do hear a lot of stuff about the tranny crapping out..

My is to look for one that has not had any mods done (I've seen most of these done poorly). Also, check the brakes. It is common on Acura/Honda products to have warpped front rotors if they have been abused at all. Otherwise, the 2.3 and 5-speed should serve you well.

BTW, I paid $8700 for a stock '98 3.0CL Premium w/ 72k last October (for some reference)............

 

i think under $8k is pretty cheap.. w/ less than 100k mileages..

I bought mine for $16,500 w/ 23k mileages.. ... oh yeah.. 3 years ago..

Now, i'm selling my CL.. and.. I don't feel good..

If I had 2.3 w/ 5spd, def. i would keep it..

get 5 spd!!

Im selling my CL im in los angeles where is tracy? My car is not abused im looking for 13k with everything in it... my loss your gain. if you click on my name you will see a link to my homepage which is my yahoo folder... you can check out some pictures there... the new ones are the ones near the bottom. price is negotiable and if you want parts to come off of it and to be more stock then let me know... price will go down accordingly... I also have the WW front lip that i have not installed yet.

good luck with the car. That car you are looking at is a pretty cheap price just be careful some people have had some electical lemons. I've had no problems luckily.

Welcome! I have a 98 2.3 5spd, you'll like it. I bought mine 7 months ago with 28K for $8900.

 

Holy crap that was a steal with that low miles.... great find.

 

That's not too bad. I'm 19 and I'm dating a 23 y/o. But I think it has something to do with me being a junior in college already and being a bit "more mature" than most guys my age...
