So are you saying it is hard starting as in... it turns over slowly, or barely turns? If it will start by rolling down a hill, yolu probably have a bad starter... or starter relay. You might start by checking the ground for the starter. if that is good, move to the starter relay and the starter itself. If I am off track here, I apologize, but that is what it sounds like you are saying.

as a cheap try, have your battery rechecked.....mine for my truck was doing some of the same funky sh*t and when they hooked up the battery they said "it's good". well i had them hook it up again and watched the volts when it sat there connected.....when its not being used it's at 12.8, but when you start your vehicle, it goes to about 10.0 to 10.6 volts...well, mine dropped to 10.0 and they said "see, it's good!"...dumba$$ didn't watch it for the whole time and it dropped to 9.2, then 8.9, so on and so on. So maybe have it checked again?

You took off the valve cover to change your plugs? Why? You just use an 8" extension with a speed wrench, or a torque wrench.
