power window is busted

I don't know if this has been covered before but my drivers side window dropped to the bottom and I think it's off the track. How do you get the door panel off???

well there are two screws one under the armrest and the other in the armrest. Take those off and take the speaker grille off. Then starting at the speaker just pull to pop off the clips. After that unplug the light, power window, power mirror, and security light. Pull up on the panel to remove it. Install is just the opposite. Email me if you need more info.

Same thing happened to mine about 2 months ago, shut the door and the windows just slowly fell. It was covered under warranty, said it was the "Windows Regulator"
they gave me out of warranty pricing too, $131 for the part
$84 for labor

thanks everyone, did you're motor still run like mine does, or did it just go dead? I'm clinging onto hope that it might just be disconnected somehow.

I think I'm going to go and stab myself in the nuts...

by the way, I am from Renton, WA - you?

Yeah I'm from Seattle. I took my car into acura of southcenter, they got a good service department there. Yeah my motor did run like yours it is the exact same problem. I put blocks in there for a day until I could get it down somewhere. Do you have any mods on your CL? If so what? I have only seen like one other CL, with anything done to it.

Unfortunately my car is 100% stizock. Even less fortunately, however is that I'm going to be out 300 bucks when I go to Acura of Southcenter tomorrow.

Would you recommend taking it to the dealer or do you think I could get off cheaper somewhere else?

well it is totally up to you and people have different opinions about it, but I think my car is worth it to take to the dealer anytime something goes wrong. Are you planning on moding your car, I know some great shops around the area.
