Is it possible to switch?

I dont know the terms but is it possible to switch the two lights in the corners, making the one in the outside the flashing one, and the inside light solid when your lights are turned on?

easy, just cut the leads and switch um, send the leads that went to the INSIDE one onto the outside one's socket and do the same the other way, send the outside wires to the inside socket....... you might have to deal with extending the wire harnesses, but other than that its a VERY easy thing to do

no I have to ask... WHY???

well the thing is i dont want to switch the bulbs i want to switch the way that they operate. i would just like the larger part illuminated while the side part is the flashing part.

I know......... like I said, CUT the LEADS and switch them, send the wires of the center one to the socket of the outside, and send the old wires from the outside to the inside, youre NOT switching BULBS, youre switching WIRE HARNESSES, basically youre sending the power usually sent to the inside to the outside and vice versa, the switch cant tell the difference it just sends power where its told to and if you re-route it to somewhere else, itll all do the same, and since theyre all relay driven you dont really have to worry about the different current fdraws fromn the bulbs, but you might have to swap out at your fuses

and for the record SWAPING the bulbs is physically impossible as it is, youd ned to enlarge the outside hole and somehow shring the hole on the inside housing

yeah but our signals are already not obvious enough for some idiots out there, I dont see any benefit to making it smaller, and IMO if the inside big light is on, it looks too much like an Integra to me, and tegs are cool, but we have CLs

thats just me though

Well in the day i have been told with the clear corners that they cant see shit anyways so i didnt see too big of a deal and then i would amber the corner lights. But yeah im not trying to make it look like and integra lol just try something new out and get a different look; if i dont like it i would switch it back.

the thing that I would worry about is that the turning signal bulb is bigger and if it stays on, it might melt the housing...

But then again its been over a year since I have seen the backside of the housing so I dunno...

oh and for the record ive seen 5th gen accords that drill into their bumper signal lens and convert it to a foglight by drilling in an H3, and thosell burn WAY hotter than any signal lamps ive seen, I saw it a while ago, but I dont think they had any problems with it melting anything

Is the corner light a 168 or a 194?

I am just going to get the LED's. Seems like a better option

same thing generally speaking, you can buy either or, and I was just mentioning the H3 thing to bring up the heat issue, but LEDs will work fine, and dandy, im running 194 Ambers on my corners and love um, I need to amber up my signal lamps, but never get around to it
