pics of my painted calipers using the g2 system

dirty

cleaned with wire wheel, wire brush, and supplied brake cleaner from g2 kit

painted with g2 paint system

what a pain in the ass for such a subtle mod. the paint system works great though and after letting it sit for 24 hrs it forms a hard surface. seems like ti will last a very long time. can't wait for the rims then i will be very gald they are painted. cant really notice with the stockers. even not masking anything off becuase im getting new rotors and pads it was a time consuming process.

heres all the new brake parts i got for free cuz of my girl's dad.

he manufactues brakes and clutches mainly for ups, policce, etc and wants to get into the import market. so im testing out hawk pads, x-drilled and slotted rotors from a private company, and stainless brake lines from earl's indy. if the setup works good ill be getting a set of rear pads and rotors also. everything is getting installed at 8am. prob switch to a better brake fluid also.

It looks like it's all coming together really nice!! Too bad you weren't out here in Cali. You could test all the stuff out on a twisty run!! The car is going to look nice with the rims!
