OBX header help

hey guys, Ive picked up the obx header for the 3.0 last week. Ive been to a couple shops and neither shop wants to mess with "bending" the downpipe.

Just wondering if anyone has had success with a certain national brand store or shop that would do this, or if im really running a chance of ruining the downpipe as the mechanics Ive talked to have told me.

sounds like the manager is a cock...try some small custom muffler shops, places that may have a pipe bender.

i went to my local muffler shop and they also thought "bending" the pipe was a bad idea, they ended up having me install it as much as possible then bringing it in and they cut and welded it to make it fit...

well just get it bent tell them u'll take responsibility... since you know it will fit after the bend and obviously it doesn't fit without the bend.

I've had 3 sets of OBX headers bent at 3 different MIDAS shops in the Rockville/Germantown, MD area. The bend is easy. Whatever shops(s) tells you that it can't be done, needs to close up and go out of business!
