No one is stealing MY headunit

I redid the custom mount I made for my headunit and stock sunglass holder today, got rid of the duct tape and butter knives. My headunit is now bolted directly to my car. My car will have to get destroyed before any mofo actually walks away with my headunit.

mines bolted to the chasis so even if they got the console off before anyone hears the alarm they still have unscrew the rest of the shit, and not cut them selfs on any of the strategicly placed raw edges of cut metal which attach the cdplayer to the chasis

I'm convinced that the siren on the alarm won't do shit. I've seen so many alarms go off and people just walking by like it was nothing.

My car is pretty tough to steal shit from. My headunit and flip up dvd are bolted to the inside of the console, theres like 10 screws in there. Same goes with my speaker box and amp, bolted down like crazy. Plus, you cant get em out since i have the air tank in front of the box, and thats bolted down. We had to take out all the trunk lining just to get the box in there in teh first place. Wheels would be tough to take too, since i got 4 different set of 4 wheel locks on there. I know you can still steal em, but hopefully 4 different kinds will slow em down. Good luck tryin to get my rims out when my car is slammed to the ground and tucked in the wheel well. Oh and my alarm, Viper 790XV, pages me if any of my sensors go off. And its in the garage. I hope that covers it lol.

Last time my car was broken into (this was when I was driving my Cutlass) they kicked in the back window, used a pry bar to try peeling back the back seat to get into the trunk bu they couldnt they broke my whole front dash board to steal the cdplayer and then used the prybar to open trunk but couldnt so they just fucked up the key hole. any way my insurance company cut me a check minus my 500 dollar deductable for the body damage to the car so I eneded up getting about 110 dollars and they had a special car audio company that works with insurance comnapines accoss the country send me this the 2003 model of the Pioneere DEH-8500MP with all the parts (dash kit, harnesses) and a vouvher to get it installed for free at circuit city.

Not every insurance company covers aftermarket parts. I know Geico and AIG doesn't. I'm fortunate to have USAA because they cover everything at no extra costs.

Razorblades and superglue!

You feel the blood coming out of your hand, before you know you've been cut! If you make it harder for the pricks to get your HU out of the car, the more damage they'll do. (while there in there, they might as well destroy as much as possible).

I wanna' see a trail of blood coming from my car!

"F" em!

mine can come out fast, and if they do, well they do. though what about putting some 130db+ (whatever level starts hearing damage) piezo sirens in there that are on like an 8 second delay from the time the alarm goes off...they can't do anything if they can't stand to be in the car....

State Farm here.... body damage interior or exterior should be considered vandalism and covered by just about any car insurance... aftermarket stereos and such some times are considered theft attractions and arent covered, im glad mine was
