Looks to be in pretty rough shape, but could just be cuz it's dirty. 3200 with a brand new trans is not a bad deal

I think the price is a little on the high side, but it sounds like you're basically paying for the new transmission.
Hard to tell much with all the dirt and writing on it, but there's no visible rust and the interior looks clean. Maybe see if you can get him to fix up that fender.

I agree with aman, price seems high for that many miles, but you're basically buying the new trans

Wow he lied? Or just mistakenly said 201k? Out of experience, I would think anything above 200k mileage with be worth only a couple of K's, even with a new transmission. If theres no paperwork for the transmission, thats like a 40/60 chance most likely there are other things wrong. Just my two cents.

I would stay away.
BTW, the title being issued in 2010 is plausible, if he took out a five year loan, and paid it off, the lender sends him the title redone in his name.

Doesn't have to be a dream, I taught my g/f how to drive stick in my 1st M3, and in turn she taught me how to handle a motorcycle.
Absolutely right.

indeed, but it's all on tangibles. My auto is over 176k, and working like a champ, but I've babied the hell out of it, and I'm mainly highway miles for most of those. It all depends on how you drive, but mainly luck of the draw.
