So the f23 has a 3 wire MAF sensor.. the question is, which one is actually the sensor data one? I tried the green one (figured it would be color coded... guess not) and that was a no go.

for the sake of not splitting into the other two wires rambo style, i figured id ask.

.....

its right ontop of the throttle body, its a three wire sensor. ones the data stream, another is the heater power and the third is the heater ground.

and by data stream i mean the wire that relays the info to the ECU. its just a voltage that varies based on the air intake..

I had to replace it on my GF's f23 accord and the dealer had it listed as a MAF sensor, not MAP. im assuming her f23a1 is the same as my f23a1? lol

never mind.. got it. its the red/yellow or yellow/red wire depending on how you look at it.

yep trying to diagnose/keep an eye on why im running so lean..

According to the writing with it, its working properly (reading rich until warm up) but i wont know for sure until i leave for work in a half hour.

Also wired up a Voltmeter, I cat stand how little information the stock dash display gives you.

and i read the top of the sensor, it does say MAP..

good job acura of milford. real winners over there. i musta argued with the guy for close to 45 minutes about it being MAP vs MAF

Mini hijack. My radar detector has a low voltage warning and when I turned it on my radar detector was shutting itself off because it was reading my battery as too low. I think it was like 11.9 what should the voltage be? Time for a new battery? It's been in there the 3 years I've had it.

Well, normal battery's cycle around 12volts when the car is off, and 14 when the car is running.. if your car is running and only cranking out 11.9, id suggest a newer battery, possibly with a higher CC amperage

Ah thanks, I'm not pushing any electronics except an aftermarket 4x45 HU and a radar detector .... HIDs also.

the HID's are probably whats getting you, your ballasts could be kinda bleh, easiest way is to pick up a voltmeter (not necessarily a guage) and test the voltage around the ballasts, if something is shorting it could be causing them to leech off the battery and wear it down.

then again, it could just be a 3 year old battery

and I lied before, the GREEN/RED wire is the data sensor for the Air/fuel guage. not the yellow red. thing works like a charm now, its great.

I have a LOT more than some itty bitty HID's running and while the system is pumping, I stay between 13.6v and 14.3v

I got the law voltage warning with the lights off. I'll probably go shopping for a new battery soon, thx for the input.

Also double check your battery terminals

^^ true, corrosion can seriously effect the way a battery performs.
