I'm sure you all know those m3 side mirrors (look like the tl mirrors), but I started thinking for some reason that if one wanted side markers as well, the car might look a little I think it's because the mirrors have their own turn signals, but what do you think? M3 Mirrors+Sidemarkers= or ? I'm debating whether I should do the mirrors, the markers, or neither...I think that's why I thought of this. Anyways, post your thoughts here.

 

I like sidemarkers.. never thought of m3 mirrors + sidemarkers... try it out - lets see what it looks like!

 

Well I have been surfing the net looking for pics (not just cl's, mercedes, bmw's, everything) and have only seen a few with both. However, unlike Jamolie (just one of the cl's who have pulled off the sidemarkers) who had the markers right up about 6" from his mirror, they are more towards the bottom of the car. If I had sigs in my mirrors and right underneath my mirrors, it might be a bit akward. That being said, they would either go down and a little to the right than Jamolies (Here or lined up with the side moldings... Any thoughts?

 

interesting. never have thought of putting them anywhere lower... I wonder... photochop anyone?

 

I've thought about this before too... Sidemarkers and M3 mirrors that is. Personally, I think that you could get away with M3 mirrors AND the markers if the markers were always on and wired into the headlight running lights, whereas the m3 mirrors flashed with the signals and were off other than that. Too much going on otherwise, unless you WANT your car to look like a time machine.

On a side note... If you're looking for mirrors, stay away from the first generation m3 mirrors... Uuuuugly!

sidemarkers for teh win

 

yeah few m3 mirror knock offs i have seen on random cars in nyc just dont fit the car look cheap

 

I kinda like jamolie's markers, it kinda reminds me of a TL with that pinstripe

 

I think the side markers are cleaner looking

 

i dont like the m3 mirrors because they are a bit small and are angled upwards. Just looks kinda funny on our car IMO. I actually really like our OEM mirrors. The sidemarkers could be a nice mod though.
