wrong. there are civic hatches with b16s running low to mid 14s. ludes can barely crack into 14 with i/e/h. and 1200 lbs difference is a lot

"only 1200 lb difference" i got i/h/e and i raced my home boy with a bone stock 3.0 i had 3 people in my car and he was by himself and we were neck and neck. the three people got out and we ran again and i put atleast 3 cars on him by 80. 1200 lbs is a huge difference.

The h22 will win, 1. Power to weight, the 6cly is exactly that im not sure how much more it weighs then a h22 but im sure its a few lbs, 2. the tranny, the tranny in the h22 is made for quick accel. 3. the 3.0 is a auto it will lose. but thats just how i see it. when it comes down to it honda made the prelude to be fast not a 3.0cl they made it to be comfortable and have a little extra pep in the step.

you can put any motor in any car but it wont be bolt-on like the F2.x -> H22 conversion.

STILL a Civic? What does that mean exactly? I have STILL a Civic and STILL a CL

Anyone that can afford a Civic can afford a used CL. I don't think we all bought our CL new.

Maybe a little Civic hating going on.......just a little?

yeah same here, I actually bought a/c system for cheap out of ebay for my hatchback. Then took it out when I made the swap, never bothered to put it back.

I was paranoid I was losing power just by having the compressor attached to the engine. ROFL. Hey, an extra 25/30 lbs, big difference. lol

My first whip was a civic, I loved that car... In fact, it chased many a thunderstorm with its little 1.6 liter. But it also had A/C that blew cold as fuck... had to have confort. I hate it when people say, oh I gutted my CL, (cocoa no offense please) it just doesn't make since to buy an entry level luxary car and gut it... If you want fast and light, stay in the civic, but for comfort, get a CL... Oh and as I've said befor...

Wait for it............

3.0>2.x CL>Civic

But, keep in mind, it is all about what you, YOU, do with what you have that makes all the difference. Oh, and Cocoa's 3.5 CRL > *.

The day I get an E55 Benz, I'm gonna strip that shit too! lol......

But people do strip benz's, bmw's, porsche's, you name it. at the track, anything goes...so why not strip the damn CL if you plan on going faster than others... Plus, there is more "fuck" room in the back now...finally the girl's head doesnt hit the damn roof.

point being....? and anyone with a brain would easily go, "civic or CL, hmmm CL" its that easy. ohh and btw, im sure you wasted money swaping a b16 into a civic, like all the other ppl do. why not h22 or a bigger already fast motor to make faster?
