The tube I used was really tight also. It was probably the first time it was removed in 10 years. Instead of trying to just pull it off try and get it to twist a little to help break loose the rubber seize.

I was wonderig why do you perform a seafoam?
It's an engine de-carbonate. You can use it in just about everything on your car but most people split it up 3 ways which works perfect for a 1 pint can.

1/3 in the gas tank: This helps clean your injectors and everything in your fuel system.

Suggested Application: Add 1/3 pint to half a tank of gas and then fill it up. The reason to add more gas is to dilute it some and agitate the seafoam to help make sure it's spread evenly over the tank.

1/3 in the crank case(oil): The helps de-sludge everything oil touches inside the engine:

Suggested Application: Add 1/3 pint to your crankcase via the oil cap. I personally added to an already warm engine which you want to do when you add it to the intake so it worked out fine. You'll want to do this right before an oil change. I personally added the foam and went on a 20 min drive to then got the oil changed.

1/3 in the intake manifold: Same as above de-carbonate and helps you burn off deposits.

Suggested Application: Most people use the brake booster line(vacuum line) as it generally has good suction into the intake manifold. There are usually a few different hoses you can use though. It's suggested you do this while the engine is warm after a drive. You'll also want someone to assist you. While the car is on have a friend rev the engine around 2500 rmp and to make sure the gar doesn't die (throttle if it does). You'll also want to suck the sea foam in slowly over about 30 seconds to make sure you don't hydrolock. Just suck a little give it a sec to breath then suck a little more until its gone (1/3 pint). I used a shallow clear tub so I could see easily but any container works fine that you can get the hose in and see what you're doing.

After all the seafoam is sucked in most people let the car sit for 5-10minutes(off). When you start the car up again there will be a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust. Rev it a little and then take it for a spirited drive until the smoke is gone.

I got a small flathead and jimmied it all around in there as i was pulling on it. It took a little effort, but it came off. I was afraid to tear it or something, but that tube is stronger than it looks. Pull hard

You pretty much have to jam a small, skinny flathead in there to pry it off. The tube could take it.

That's what she said.

lol, good idea?

Yea those tubs are tough. I had my left hand bracing the connector it was attached to and my right hand gripping the tube and twisting pulling pretty fing hard. I was waiting for some busted knuckles. Luckily the tube I used (blue in the pic) actually has a spout that inserts into the tube that appeared to be a little over an inch long. I would have felt confident leaving it on there w/o the metal clip it's that tight.

Anyway like I said earlier try to twist to break it lose you're not gonna break it lose from straight pulling w/o one of those no warning breaks that send you flying backwards =).
