Just did seafoam...here's a little how-to just in case

I personally think seafoam is all smoke and mirrors. It didn't improve the gas mileage or idle of my old beater Civic STD. The smoke cloud however, did piss off my neighbor. He grabbed his leaf blower out of the garage and tried blowing the smoke away from his house.

I'm gonna foam this weekend I think...
If you do 1/3 crank, 1/3 vacuum, 1/3 gas the only thing you need to do is get an oil change after correct? Any suggestions for amount of gas in the tank to do it etc?

So has there been any discussion on how often to run the car after you add all the foam before the oil change?
Add to half tank o gas > fill up
suck through PCV slowly around 2000/2500rpm
1/3rd in crank
Drive for how long? Idle for how long?
Oil change >
Done?

Thanks,
I'm gonna get off dino too and switch to some mobile one synthetic 5w-30 after the foam (whenever I get around to it) we'll be the ultimate test to how tight the seals are.

I have about 134k miles on the 3oh, has anyone with around the same mileage do theirs in the crank case? Yes I have tried this before on my db1 teg but wasn't worried because I had a fresh jdm b18 sitting in the garage(was trying to find excuse to put it in cuz of wife) but this time I only have 1 car 1 engine, basically doing it to really try to improve egine feel.

I just did it with nearly 170k miles on the car and got an oil change. I got Jiffy Lube's carbon treatment thingy a while back when I used to have money to blow, so there probably wasn't an insane amount of buildup in there. But I still smoked the shit out of the main road from my house. Everybody stayed like 10 cars back from me the whole time.
The only thing I've noticed so far is the improved idle. It's like it's barely on!
Hopefully there won't be any problems with seals or anything, but so far so good.

Has it had synthetic oil in it?
There is always a risk but if the car has been well maintained with quality products you have a much much lower risk of unplugging a grime filled leak.

Ok I foamed my crank and changed the oil. I'm gonna do the intake next and instead of pulling wires off to see which sucks I figured I would just ask. You're looking at the intake manifold on a F23A1
Anyone care to point out which would be best to suck the foam into?

If the red goes to the brake booster, that is what I used. Just when you disconnect it, be prepared to put your thumb on the end a little, car will rev to the sky if you let it fully open.

Yea I decided not to use that because the tube was really long and would have been awkward. Blue goes directly into the intake also and has plenty of suction for liquids it bends just enough to get it into a small container.
