How do you install a intake on the 3.0. Step by step intructions, pictures, and where each part in the kit goes would be great.

Umm, I installed my intake on my 3.0CL and had no pictures or instructions, it all kinda makes sense, you take it one step at a time, you remove the original intake (look around for the screws) and then you install the new one. Look around the usefull topics, there should be some pics on how to install one on the CL 2nd gen, it's about the same thing.

If you're thinking of installing a CAI, it's a little more involved.

I think that he meant to say that he installed a short ram intake in his car and that is a lot easier to do than the CAI, which involves taking out the resonator box, which is a real bitch.

The CAI will give you a bit more power because it is longer and goes closer to the ground and away from the engine bay, thus sucks in colder and denser air = more HP. I would definitely get the CAI, I installed it myself and I have not done much work on cars. Just make sure not to drive through really deep puddles, but how often does that happen. There's just a lot of really hidden bolts that are a real bitch to reach, but other than that it's not that hard. Helps to have a friend assist you.
